Currently serving as the General Manager of Crown Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ali AlAmri leads the company’s operational and strategic direction. In this pivotal role, he is responsible for guiding all departments towards achieving ambitious corporate objectives, developing robust growth and expansion plans, and efficiently managing resources to ensure high-level performance. Furthermore, Mr. AlAmri is instrumental in strengthening our strategic relationships with partners, clients, and regulatory bodies. His leadership ensures our unwavering commitment to the highest standards of governance and legal compliance, reflecting the company’s dedication to transparency and professionalism.
Prior to assuming the General Manager position, Mr. AlAmri held the critical role of Head of Compliance at Crown Saudi Arabia. In this capacity, he established robust internal and external compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures, diligently working to ensure the company’s adherence to all relevant local and international laws and regulations. He played a fundamental role in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and educating employees on best compliance practices, directly contributing to the cultivation of a strong culture of adherence within our organization.

Mr. AlAmri’s extensive experience is built upon a solid educational foundation, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion from King Khalid University, which has provided him with a profound understanding of legal principles and ethics. His career path also includes significant leadership roles in the public sector, where he served as the Head of a Governorate Authority, further honing his administrative and leadership capabilities.
Beyond his contributions to Crown Saudi Arabia, Mr. AlAmri is a recognized certified lawyer and a sworn notary public by the Ministry of Justice. He possesses vast experience as both an international and local arbitrator, having successfully managed complex commercial disputes involving financial brokerage firms and joint-stock companies, underscoring his prowess in intricate conflict resolution. His membership in the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Geneva and his involvement in the boards of various local and international companies solidify his standing as an expert in governance and international trade. Furthermore, he specializes in financial investigations, having previously represented the Kingdom in sensitive international claims. An active member of both the Saudi Association of Internal Auditors and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), he is committed to upholding the highest standards of auditing and transparency.

Khaled Andrawes is a seasoned architect and senior project manager with over two decades of distinguished experience in architectural design, project execution, and leadership across the Middle East and Europe. Holding dual Jordanian-Italian nationality, he earned his Master’s Degree in Architectural Engineering and Planning from the renowned IUAV University of Venice, Italy.
Throughout his career, Khaled has led landmark projects for Saudi royalty, including private palaces and large-scale urban planning initiatives. Notably, he has managed projects with built-up areas exceeding 180,000 m², overseeing every aspect from design reviews and contractor negotiations to landscaping, fit-outs, and finishing supervision. His capacity to manage multidisciplinary teams of over 1,800 personnel underlines his leadership strength and operational rigor.
His portfolio includes major works with AMAS – Al Shoula Group in Riyadh, urban restoration for the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, and smart city planning initiatives. His expertise spans both modern and heritage architecture, with a passion for adaptive reuse and preservation—evident in his conservation projects such as Qaser Al Saqqaf in Mecca and Qaser Al Khusam in Jeddah.
Khaled combines Italian design sensibility with Middle Eastern contextual understanding, enabling him to bridge technical, cultural, and executive aspects of high-profile developments. His multilingual fluency in Arabic, Italian, and English enhances his communication across international teams.

Mustafa Farag is a seasoned international business strategist and project manager with a diverse background spanning real estate, international trade, and strategic development across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Born in Geneva in 1991 and of French-Sudanese heritage, Mustafa has consistently demonstrated a forward-thinking mindset, having entered university in the U.S. before the age of 16.
Educated in Engineering Physics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Mustafa balanced academic pursuits with early hands-on experience in real estate, working alongside family in property management and investment. His career trajectory took him across Germany, before advancing into defense and security technology studies in Austria, where he focused on advanced technical systems and specialized engineering related to security infrastructure. He then continued his training in Belgium while expanding into international trade, focusing on precious metals and stones and leveraging a rapidly growing global network.
Raised in a diplomatic environment, with strong ties to the United Nations through his father’s career as a senior diplomat, Mustafa developed early exposure to international affairs and high-level institutional settings. Fluent in five languages—French, English, Arabic, German, and Spanish, he has cultivated trusted local partnerships in markets across Europe, Africa, the Gulf, and Latin America.
His entrepreneurial path includes acquiring and renovating a Berlin-based restaurant—doubling its valuation within two years—and advising companies on international expansion and cross-border strategy. In 2022, he established an import-export firm in Senegal, followed by a role in Dubai’s real estate sector.
Today, Mustafa serves as Project Manager at Saudi Crown in Saudi Arabia, where he leads complex initiatives at the intersection of business development, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution—contributing to the Kingdom’s strategic transformation and growth agenda. Known for his negotiation acumen, public relations expertise, and cross-cultural fluency, Mustafa continues to build impactful ventures by connecting markets, aligning interests, and delivering long-term value.

Zeinab Sharif

Zeinab Zeinelabdeen Hussein Sharif
Director of International Relations
Ms. Zeinab Zeinelabdeen Hussein Sharif is the Director of International Relations and a Senior Adviser at Saudi Crown Holding Company, a dynamic Saudi-based investment group headquartered in Riyadh. With a career spanning over three decades in international business, investment, and diplomacy, Ms. Hussein Sharif brings a wealth of global experience, strategic insight, and cross-cultural expertise to the organization’s international engagements.
A dual French-Sudanese national, Ms. Hussein Sharif holds a BSc in Statistics and Economic Measurement from the University of Khartoum and a Diploma in Applied Statistics from the University of Cairo. She has been based in Geneva, Switzerland, for over 30 years, actively participating in high-level diplomatic and investment circles.
Her diverse professional background includes co-directing Khadija SA, a Swiss firm specializing in commodities and investments, and serving as a consultant with Swiss asset management company Hirsch & Cie (later Maverick Conseils SA), focusing on international real estate markets. Since 2008, she has advised multiple global companies and facilitated oil and gas ventures in emerging markets. She also served as an advisor to Khobra Al Saudia Investment Company from 2008 to 2013.
Ms. Hussein Sharif is a long-standing participant in the Quebec City Conference (QCC) and its successor, the Long-Term Investment Organization (LTIO), where she presented investment opportunities in Africa to global sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors. Her network spans senior representatives from entities like ADIA (UAE), China Investment Corporation, TIAA-CREF, and Canadian pension funds.
She actively engages with international development and ethical finance initiatives, attending seminars and joint programs organized by UNITAR in Geneva and contributing to the Global Ethical Finance Forum in Edinburgh—platforms committed to sustainable and responsible investment.
Outside the boardroom, Ms. Hussein Sharif plays a meaningful role in community and peace-building initiatives. She is a member of the United Nations Women’s Guild (UNWG), helping fund child-focused projects across Africa, and a founding member of the “Peace for the Horn of Africa” movement. She is also a member of the Geneva Diplomatic Club and a volunteer Arabic teacher for non-native speakers.
Her academic pursuits include continuing education in economics at Geneva’s Centre de Commerce et Langues and workshops at leading institutions such as Bank Vontobel. Mrs. Elyssa Barakat serves as the Director of the President’s Office at Saudi Crown Holding Co., a Saudi-based investment company with diverse interests across the Gulf and Europe. In this capacity, she plays a pivotal role in supporting executive leadership through strategic coordination, high-level administrative oversight, and the management of key governmental and institutional relationships. Her position places her at the intersection of diplomacy, governance, and international business strategy.
Raised and educated in Switzerland, Mrs. Barakat holds Swiss nationality and brings a refined global perspective to her work. Her multicultural fluency and ability to operate seamlessly in multilingual environments reflect her strong academic foundation, which includes a Swiss Federal Diploma in Business Administration and a diploma in Banking and Finance from CYP Lausanne.
Prior to joining Saudi Crown Holding, she built a distinguished career in compliance and financial services. As Compliance Officer at Lombard Odier, one of Switzerland’s most prestigious private banks, she specialized in regulatory adherence, anti-money laundering protocols, enhanced due diligence, and risk-based client profiling. Her responsibilities required deep knowledge of global regulations such as FATCA and QI, and the use of advanced compliance tools including World-Check and Lexis Nexis.
Mrs. Barakat also brings experience from her earlier roles in executive administration and private investment, including as Executive Secretary at Saudi Khobra Investment SA in Geneva. In parallel, she has consulted for global families through Family Office Services, providing personalized support in real estate, relocation, and luxury travel—showcasing her discretion, adaptability, and client-focused mindset.
Trilingual in Arabic, French, and English, with a working knowledge of German, Mrs. Barakat operates with cultural sensitivity and strategic clarity. Dividing her time between Riyadh and Switzerland, she is a trusted figure in international business circles and a vital asset in navigating high-level operations with professionalism and foresight.
